Not guilty...but innocent?

Ewen Macdonald's accomplice in a crime spree is out of prison after serving just half of his sentence, RadioLive reports.

Callum Boe was jailed for two years on a raft of charges, including vandalism and arson, at Queenstown District Court last September
.
Boe admitted the crimes he had carried out with Macdonald when he was questioned last year by police investigating the murder of Feilding farmer Scott Guy.
Macdonald was charged with killing his brother-in-law, but acquitted in July after standing trial in the High Court at Wellington.

During the trial the court heard the pair carried out hunting "missions" and last week when suppression was lifted it emerged they'd killed 19 calves on a neighbouring property and emptied thousands of litres of milk from another farmer's vat.

Boe was sentenced to two years' jail last September but RadioLive reports that close family members and his lawyer have confirmed he's now a free man.

Ewen Macdonald was found not guilty. But like David Bain: Is he innocent? The perpetrators of all these despicable crimes are sick bastards who should never be released!
